Law: daily utilization of washrooms stalls in big office buildings typically follows the curve below:

Detailed Description:
Regular office buildings often have a limited number of washrooms. Typically, each floor in an office building has one washroom (per gender), which in turn has at most one – two stalls. This results in an interesting pattern of the stalls’ utilization. During most of the day you will rarely find yourself waiting for a person to leave the shitter. However, there are two peak times, during which the utilization jumps to 100 %. These peak times are marked in the graph above as The Breakfast Rush and The Lunch Rush.
Usually about an hour after breakfast or lunch, every employee at the same time decides it’s time to poop and he or she will rush towards the washroom. Unlucky ones, who find the stalls in the washroom on their floor occupied, will try to go a floor up or down. If they are unlucky again, another floor… and so on until their cravings are satisfied. Brave ones, who decide that looking like an idiot is better then traversing the floors, will simply wait beside the stall until it becomes free.
Extreme Caution Special Case:
Situation is worsened dramatically if the cafeteria in the building was serving mexican food for lunch. In this exteme caution special case uilitization curve changes to the following:

It might take you 10 – 15 minutes of running up and down the stairs to find an empty stall and the craziness like that will last good couple of hours.
Happy pooping!
